A man allegedly in possession of a handgun and a quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana was arrested on Tuesday near Yonge and Gerrard.
Around 2 p.m., a TTC employee at the Dundas subway station noticed a gun allegedly tucked into the suspect’s pants, and contacted police.
A bike patrol found the man standing in a parkette near 9 McGill St. with five other men. Officers say they then saw the man throwing away drugs, and took the man into custody.
Jamal Garrison, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with 11 different offences, including possession of a prohibited firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
