Zara Phillips has chosen a wedding dress designer that her grandmother (the Queen) and mother (Princess Anne) will surely approve of.
The 30-year-old, who plans to tie the knot with rugby player Mike Tindall at the end of the month, is rumoured to be wearing a “modern Chic” gown, whose maker has been confirmed as one of the Queen’s favorite couturiers, Stewart Parvin.
“The Queen and Zara’s mum, Princess Anne, adore Stewart’s clothes,” said a source to the Daily Mail.
“They wear his ensembles for Ascot and the Queen wore a white Stewart Parvin dress for Barack Obama’s state visit.”
“Zara doesn’t want a high-fashion dress similar to Kate Middleton’s Sarah Burton design,” the source said.
“But Stewart is the youngest Royal couturier, so the dress will still be modern and chic.”
