Prince Harry’s trip to Washington this week was all work and no play. The royal was in and out of the U.S. in under 24 hours— on an express mission to accept a major leadership award.
Before Harry accepted the Atlantic Council’s 2012 Award for distinguished humanitarian leadership at the Washington Ritz-Carlton, he attended an outdoor reception for wounded soldiers at the British Ambassador’s home; he met Jill Biden (wife of Joe Biden) and soldiers that took part in the Warrior Games, an annual event hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee.
