Rumor has it, Prince Harry has been working on his DJing skills after an inspirational meeting with the widow of Reggae legend Bob Marley, Rita, on his first solo tour. And while most of the world won’t get to see his new skills as a DJ, Harry has done a musical cameo appearance in the official Diamond Jubilee single by Garry Barlow and Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

He is a very human boy, he was born in one love as we were born in one love.arry is a gift from God. He spreads the love. I am giving him a letter in which I tell him how we will all see his beautiful mother again one day. Photo via monstersandcritics.com.

Barlow, by chance, was in Jamaica when Harry arrived there on his tour: “We turned up and I asked him would he play on the record and he said, ‘I don’t sing,’” Barlow told the U.K. Press Association.”But I said, ‘No, no – I don’t want you to sing, I want you to play the tambourine’. And so he said, ‘It’ll cost you.’ Then we met him later on that night and he did the tambourine hit and we spun it into the track. He probably hasn’t got a clue what he’s part of just yet.”

Prince Harry has demonstrated his musical savvy on the tambourine on a song called “Sing,” which features 210 musicians from around the Commonwealth, reports ITN news.

The song will be one of many compositions comprising a commemorative jubilee album by Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band; it will be released on  Monday May 28th.
