Zara Phillips hosts wild hen in Portugal
Photo Credit: Kerry DaviesAfter Mike Tindall proved he could party like a rockstar during his stag party in Miami, we couldn’t expect any less of his royal fiance Zara Phillips during her hen.
Tindall showed Phillips what she was up against when he was pictured at his stag:
He was ” downing beer and wine in a succession of silly outfits on the beach in Miami before clocking up a $20,000 bill at fashionable LIV nightclub that included $3,303 of service charge and a $1,000 tip,” reports the Daily Mail.
The Queen’s granddaughter also made an escape for her party; she took off to Portugal with a group of pals and checked into the CampReal Golf Resort and Spa for a weekend:
“The three-day hen marathon started on Friday morning when Zara was given the tutu and cow by her pals and made to run around the resort wearing them,” says News of the World.
She wore the fun ensemble as she partied through the night with cocktails, wine and sangria:
“She and 19 pals – including sister-in-law Autumn Phillips, 33, TV’s Kirsty Gallacher, 35, Sky Sports presenters Natalie Pinkham and Di Dougherty, both 32, and Kenny Dalglish’s daughter Lynsey, 29 – knocked back cocktails, sangria and wine as they played rowdy drinking games all weekend,” reports News of the World.
The next day was one of relaxation and recuperation at the hotel spa and later at a beach barbecue; that day the group also boarded two luxury yachts for a little sea cruising.
Noticeably absent from the group of women was The Duchess of Cambridge, who has been putting in quite a few public appearances recently.
Directly after her bash, Zara headed out to a Polo match to meet up with Tindall and watch her beloved cousin, Prince Harry, play and rough-house with her husband-to-be.
