Prince William and Kate Middleton became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
Thousands gathered along Kate’s route from the Goring Hotel to the Abbey.
The Duchess exited the Goring Hotel at 10:51 a.m., when the world caught their first slight glimpse of the ever anticipated wedding gown as she was helped into the car.
The bride was met by her sister at the Abbey’s west entrance at 11 a.m.
When Kate arrived she waved the crowd one last time before entering into the large stone building and into her new royal life.
