There is an extra guest in the official royal wedding photo: A £1 toy worm!

It took rather a long while for people to spot an extra guest in the official wedding photograph of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

If you look at young bridesmaid Eliza Lopes, the granddaughter of the Duchess of Cornwall, she seems to be clutching something. And, upon further investigation it’s quite clear what it is: a little pink toy worm!

The Duchess of Cornwall revealed the story behind the worm yesterday, reports the Mail.Apparently, Prince Harry had the toy in his pocket, and he pulled it out for Eliza (Camilla’s granddaughter) on the carriage ride to Buckingham Palace, when she became scared of the crowds and the excessive noise.“Did you see the wiggly worm?

“That was the funniest thing. I can’t believe no one has spotted it,” Camilla said yesterday.“I was so worried about Eliza. She is such a lovely little thing and looked so gorgeous in her dress but it was a very big occasion foa child of her age.In the photo Eliza is standing in front of Camilla.

Only minutes later, the first official wedding photos by photographer Hugo Burnand were revealed. The couple have opted to hold off on a honeymoon, Clarence House reports, because Prince William has to return to work as a search and rescue pilot next week.

“The Duke returns to work and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance,” a statement from Clarence House said, which was obtained by CNN.

CNN reports the Duchess was wearing a light blue dress, a dark jacket and wedge platform shoes. And a cheerful Duke of Cambridge wore khaki/chino style pants with a faint blue shirt and dark jacket.
