If you look at young bridesmaid Eliza Lopes, the granddaughter of the Duchess of Cornwall, she seems to be clutching something.
And, upon further investigation it’s quite clear what it is: a little pink toy worm!
The Duchess of Cornwall revealed the story behind the worm yesterday, reports the Mail.
Apparently, Prince Harry had the toy in his pocket, and he pulled it out for Eliza (Camilla’s granddaughter) on the carriage ride to Buckingham Palace, when she became scared of the crowds and the excessive noise.
“Did you see the wiggly worm? That was the funniest thing. I can’t believe no one has spotted it,” Camilla said yesterday.
“I was so worried about Eliza. She is such a lovely little thing and looked so gorgeous in her dress but it was a very big occasion for a child of her age.
